Asad Moos

Born 7 January 2004

Wynberg Boys’ High School

A Grassy Park scrum-half who could not get past Cobus Reinach, Stefan Ungerer and Imad Khan at the Stormers, and so arrived in Johannesburg in July 2026 with two Junior Springbok campaigns behind him and no league rugby at all. He had been a standout for UCT in the Varsity Cup. Twelve days after the move he was on at Ellis Park against the Pumas, and a week later he started against the Bulls XV — his first start in his second appearance. In the 36-12 win over the Stormers XXIII in August, the opening try came off his work behind the ruck. Seven Currie Cup matches in his first season at the club.
