Two metres and three centimetres of second row, and the most direct answer available to a lineout that returned 83 per cent across the 2025/26 United Rugby Championship — the one set-piece number the statistics flagged. Andrews gave the Sharks the better part of a decade and deputised for Eben Etzebeth when Etzebeth was injured, which is a sentence that does its own work. Two seasons at Sale Sharks followed before the Lions brought him home for 2026/27. He was on the bench against the All Blacks at Ellis Park in August and again for the Leinster opener in September. A Junior Springbok in 2015, he has never been capped at Test level.
