Kelly Mpeku

Born 28 November 2003

188cm

86kg

South Africa

One of the most promising young backs in the squad. Mpeku's record shows ten points from two tries, thirty-one carries for 228 metres, four clean breaks, seven defenders beaten and four offloads, alongside twenty-eight tackles. The carrying numbers stand out — 228 metres and seven defenders beaten indicate a genuine attacking threat. Registered as an inside centre and able to cover fullback, he has been with the Golden Lions since 2023 and the Lions since 2025.
