Full name Sibahle Ndiphiwe Maxwane, and one of the senior figures in the Lions back line. Maxwane featured across the URC, the Currie Cup and the Challenge Cup in 2025/26 — a spread of involvement that reflects both his versatility and the squad's reliance on players who can carry three competitions. At thirty-one he brings professionalism and experience to a young outside-back group.
