One of the most experienced forwards in the squad, with eight Champions Cup caps already to his name from an earlier stage of his career — relevant experience as the Lions enter that competition for the first time. Oosthuizen has been with the Lions since 2023 and the Golden Lions since 2024, returning an 88 per cent tackle success rate. His role is set piece, defence and leadership among a young second-row group.
