The defensive anchor of the Lions midfield. Cronje averages 7.6 tackles a match across fifty-six appearances, with a single-game peak of eighteen — an exceptional rate for a centre and the foundation on which the Lions' more expansive midfield play is built. Two starts and 160 minutes in the 2025/26 URC season alongside Challenge Cup involvement. His attacking output is not the headline; his reliability is.
