A prop who came to the Lions via the Pumas, where he featured in the Currie Cup and Rugby Challenge. Compact for a modern front-rower, Naude relies on technique and mobility rather than bulk, and he covers both loosehead and tighthead. At twenty-eight he is in the prime years of a prop's career and provides essential depth in a position where rotation is constant.
