Marco Ferreira

Born 21 December 2005

190cm

116kg

South Africa

At twenty, one of the youngest players in the squad and one of the most physically developed. Ferreira came through the Blue Bulls system and has six Currie Cup appearances on record, ranking twelfth of thirty-four locks in the competition on performance index. His carrying is his strength; his defensive output is where the development work sits. Listed variously as a No. 8 and a lock, which reflects genuine versatility rather than uncertainty. Time is comfortably on his side.
