Lions v Ospreys

Two from two, and this one was won in the second half. The Lions led early through a Chris Smith penalty and an Erich Cronje try on 27 minutes, converted by Smith. Then Keiran Williams went over for the Ospreys on 33, Dan Edwards converted, and the visitors turned round 12-10 ahead. Whatever was said at the interval worked. PJ Botha, Morné Brandon and Chamberlain crossed in quick succession, and Kelly Mpeku finished with two of his own — five tries after the break against a side that had led at half-time. Thirty-five points, a bonus point, and a second win in eight days following the 27-26 defeat of the champions. Morné van den Berg and Quan Horn both returned to the matchday squad, and the Lions now have more points on the board after two rounds than in any URC season at this stage. Last year the Lions lost their opening three. This year they have won their first two.
