THE OFFICIAL 10BET LIONS YEARBOOK 2026

SEASON COVERED. United Rugby Championship 2025/26. EPCR Challenge Cup 2025/26. Carling Black Label Currie Cup 2026. Professional squad 2025/26, with a preview of 2026/27.

THE RECORD. This is the official record of the 10bet Lions' 2025/26 season. Results, statistics and competition data have been checked against the published records of the United Rugby Championship, European Professional Club Rugby and the Currie Cup. Where a detail could not be confirmed before going to press, it is identified as such rather than assumed.

THE SEASON. It contained achievement and failure in roughly equal measure. The Lions won the South African Shield, reached the first URC quarter-final in the club's history and qualified for the Investec Champions Cup. They also lost their opening three league matches, conceded 52 points at home to the Bulls, went out of the Challenge Cup on points difference and lost a Currie Cup semi-final by forty points.

A yearbook that records only the good afternoons is a brochure. This one records the season as it was played.

It is a permanent record of the players, coaches, staff, supporters, members and partners who made the campaign possible, and of a year that changed the scale of what this club can reasonably pursue.
